è Must understand core Java concepts very well

è Must have worked on JSP/Servlets with some popular taglib (custom taglib experience preferred)

è Must have done XML programming (as opposed to using XML in config/etc)

è Must have used one of these J2EE servers – Jboss (preferred), Weblogic, Websphere

è Must have done JDBC programming

o   Should understand parameterized SQL preparation

o   Should have experience with one of these DBs: Oracle, MSSQLServer, PostgreSQL

è Must have good Java debugging skills, using Eclipse IDE preferred

è Desirables:

o   Understand design patterns and principles

o   Problem solver, creative thinker, self-motivated

o   Good doc-skills, communication skills
